Rain pattered early that morning at Basel Cellars, but the grin on Taylor’s face could not be swayed for she was about to walk down the isle to the love of her life, and nothing, not even a little rain was going to alter the anticipation and excitement she had for this day.
You see and Taylor and Wyatt, had been introduced by family, Wyatt’s sister Cheyenne, and instantly hit it off. Friends and family spoke of their instant connection, as well as the night they met, almost as if it were a scene straight out of a movie.
And straight out of a movie it was. As Taylor approached Wyatt for the first time that day, you could see the nerves slowy fade away the moment they saw one another. As the read their love letters + vows to one another under the shade of a beautiful tree, hands were held, and promises were made in a setting so intimate and perfect for the two of them.
As the day rolled on and mother nature threw everyone a few curveballs, nothing could take away from the happiness these two had, for this day, and for one another. Lights were turned on, dinner was served, people were dancing, and everyone was blessed with the most gorgeous sunset one could witness. Overall it was a night to remember, a night to cherish, and a night where two people so deserving of love and one another officially became husband and wife.
Taylor + Wyatt, from our trip out to the snow, to the planning, meetings, car rides, and phone calls – it’s been such a joy to be able to capture this special moment in your story. When you said that you not only gained a photographer but a friend, I couldn’t have agreed more. I hope this time on the farm is beautiful, and that your trip this winter will be one for the books. Thank you again for allowing me to take part in such a special moment in your love story

KIND WORDS FROM THE COUPLE: How do I even begin to talk about how amazing Alex is? We heard about Alex through a friend and saw her amazing work at such friends wedding. I knew I needed her magical skills on my wedding day, but my husband and I had such a short engagement that I didn’t think that I’d be able to book her. Miss Alex books like a year or two out, so with my 4ish months to plan, I didn’t think I had a chance. Then Alex did the wonderful thing and posted the days she had left in 2017 and to my surprise she had our date available. Boom, match made in heaven!! Over the few short months of our meetings, engagement shoot, and a few little road trips I got to know Alex on a More personal level. I can say that not only is Alex the most amazing photographer and business owner, but truly one of the most down to earth, genuine, and incredible women I’ve ever met. She puts so much thought and energy into her clients and treats them as if their family. I believe that Alex’s favorite phrase is “You’ve got it girl”, because there wasn’t an idea that came out of my mouth that she said no too. From our engagement pictures to our sneak peaks of our wedding, her photography has never failed to bring tears to my eyes. To say that Alex is a talented photographer would be an understatement. I am so unbelievably blessed that we were able to book Alex for our special day, I can’t imagine having anyone besides her as my go to gal. BRIDES, do yourself a favor and book Alex, like now! Even if you maybe think she’s all booked up, you may find yourself pleasantly surprised! – Taylor + Wyatt
