Jordyn and Garrett booked me at the beginning of 2019 for their June 2020 wedding. From the moment they booked, to their engagement session, to all the way up to this year…we’d been looking forward to this day for such a long time. But as is the story with so many couples this year, the good old rona’ interrupted their original plans. So Jordyn and Garrett had to pivot. And boy did they pivot and pivot well.
Rather than postpone till next year, these two decided an intimate and colorful elopement at Rattlesnake Lake, surrounded by their closest family and friends and pup Max. And then a small little gathering in their backyard a few days later. It was truly the perfect way to celebrate these two while still adhering to the guidelines our state had set forth. From moving speeches, confetti, an original rap song, and a champagne bottle that wanted to start the party early…it was truly such a wonderful few days with Jordyn and Garrett and their crew.
Jordyn and Garrett, you guys DID THE DAMN THING…and I’m honestly so happy for you! You both handled this year with such grace + love, and I’m so thankful to have been able to capture this special moment in your love story! Cheers to a lifetime of happiness ahead!
