This past year, has been a whirlwind. Between travel and weddings, I was able to photograph three styled shoots this year. This one imparticular was one I had dreamed up back at the beginning of the year, and was finally executed this August.
We wanted to try new things in the shoot, all while paying homage to the AMAZING wedding blog that is, Green Wedding Shoes (if you look closely, you’ll catch how we did that below). We also wanted to have a very selective color palette (green, white, and gold), so your eyes will focus more on the details rather than a crazy amount of color.
Both Amber of Up Balloon Boutique and Katie of My Garden Overfloweth created an INSANE backdrop on BlankSpace’s beautiful white wall. L Maria Calligraphy created these eclectic personalized lightbulb champagne glasses for guests – to tie into our industrial theme. Chelsea came in clutch and made us these absolutely delicious cupcakes, beautiful macaroons, and a gorgeous white cake which we had WAY to much photographing! Grace, one of the most amazing and talented calligraphers I know, crafted this beautiful invitation suite that I still keep staring at! Our hair (Gala Ursul) and makeup team (Elize) brought our simple yet sophisticated beauty production to life — and don’t even GET ME STARTED on Jennavieve Films, you can catch her BEAUTIFUL video below. And lastly, Olivia, owner of BlankSpace – this shoot wouldn’t have happened if this go-getting, dream-chasing, design-saver woman, never took the plunge to make this incredible space a reality. The creative community in Eastern Washington is better BECAUSE of it.
Now time for some insight into this shoot!
