THE Venue GUIDE
Located in the heart of Walla Walla wine country, this 38-acre winery is filled with a variety of gorgeous settings for your day. The original Farmhouse is the perfect place for Brides to enjoy a few mimosa's while priming with her closest friends. Meanwhile, Grooms and their guys will feel right at home in the Hayloft or Locust Suite.
With several unique ceremony locations, you're sure to find one perfectly tailored for your day. Say I do in front of the southern style big barn or in the grand tree lined entrance.
As you walk the grounds, you’ll capture photos that will grace your home for decades to come. You’ll dance the night away inside the custom built barn with twinkly lights and elegant chandeliers. Your guests will feel right at home inis how you so beautifully decorated the inside and thought of every last detail.
As you drive back down the lane, leaving Abeja Winery as Husband and Wife, you’ll look over at your handsome husband and thank God you’re married to such an amazing man. And you’ll always remember how beautiful your day truly was.

There are many things we love about photographing weddings at Kinhaven Winery. From the exquisite wine, beautiful views, and overall intimate environment, we know you'll deeply enjoy celebrating the start of your marriage at Kinhaven. Here are a few of our favorite features:
Absolutely. Abeja offers a variety of luxurious accommodations for you to get ready. From the Farmhouse (our personal favorite) to the Hayloft, Locust suite and more..there is a lot of on-site options for you to select from.
We’ve found that ceremony times typically vary from season to season, but usually fall within the 3pm-6pm timeframe. If you’re considering Abeja, we’d be more than happy to provide our insights on the ideal ceremony start time for your date and unique celebration needs.
Truthfully, there is no best time of year to host your wedding at Abeja, as they can accommodate your celebration any time of year. That being said, we’ve found that Spring and Fall (May and September) are our personal favorites simply because the weather is usually ideal and the blooms or foliage on the property makes for some unique photo opportunities.
On average we typically dedicate about two to two and a half hours for all formal photographs. That being said, the amount of time depends on a multitude of factors and your personal requests. We work with each of our clients and their planners months prior to their wedding to allow for the right amount of time for their specific needs.
Yes! We’ve done several controlled sparkler exits in the past at Abeja, and we encourage all our couples to do one as it makes for a great final image for your wedding story. We do recommend double-checking with Abeja's event manager on this though, in case of any policy changes.
Absolutely! As mentioned in question five, Abeja has an expansive property that allows for endless options when it comes to your photographs. We’ve captured portraits in various parts of the property and have also captured ceremonies and receptions in different locations on the property as well. We’d be more than happy to provide you with our personal favorite layout options for your celebration.
We absolutely do have vendor recommendations! We’ve worked with an array of talented planners, florists, cake artists, DJs, bands, videographers, and more in the Walla Walla region and provide a curated list of the best talent to all our signed couples.
My name is Alex Lasota and I'm a luxury wedding and portrait photographer based in Walla Walla, Washington, specializing in documenting timeless, emotion-filled imagery. My team of second shooters and I love capturing celebrations at Kinhaven Winery and have had the honor of capturing eight unique weddings since their introduction into weddings in 2020. In order to provide our clients with a high level of service and attention to detail they deserve, we take on only a small amount of weddings per year and would love to capture your unique story at /kinhaven.
