Stephanie and Steven Anniversary Session, Banff Canada

This session was featured on Junebug Weddings

On a party cloudy party rainy Wednesday afternoon, I met Stephanie and Steven at Morraine Lake Lodge. The drizzle from the rain had just started, and the lake crew had just begun lining up the array of colorful canoes that floated the gorgeous turquoise water that day, but that didn’t stop us from venturing out for a photography adventure.

Stephanie and Steven happen to be wedding photographers from Redder, Canada. While walking the perimeter of the lake, we chatted galleries, wedding stories, and how to thrive in a saturated market. It’s always great getting to know fellow industry professionals and knowing you’re not alone in your thoughts and actions in business.

What a dream it was to take photographs of these two around the lake, and up on the rocky hill that faces the most gorgeous view I’ve ever seen of water and mountains. What at first we thought would be a rather tough climb, wound up being a steep stair hike when tackling it from the back. I know I don’t speak for myself when I say that this was truly a fantastic afternoon. Thanks again Steven and Stephanie for being so awesome and adventurous!
