Unplugged ceremonies are something that ever couple should consider having at their wedding.
- Guests Remain Present – By having an unplugged ceremony, you are asking your guests to remain present and in the moment. You don’t have to worry about a cell phone ringing and interpreting your train of thought as you vow your love to your partner, and you won’t be distracted by Aunt Sally fiddling with her phone as you’re listening to your partner recite their vows to you. By having your guests in the moment, you also remain in the moment.
- Professional Photographs – The last thing you want to see when you get your professional photographs back are your guests attached to their phone and not even paying attention to the ceremony. Or worse, guests standing in the isle ruining the shot for the photographer and videographer. You’ve spent quite a fortune on your camera crew, so make sure you set your paparazzi team up for success by having an unplugged ceremony! While Uncle Bob’s cell phone shot might be amazing, I’m sure it’s not something you want to hang on your walls. Just some food for thought.
