Over a year ago, Sophia and Ben were on a quest to find the perfect Portland wedding venue. The couple was seeking a venue that not only complemented their modern style but also provided a full-service, luxury experience. Lucky for them Amaterra Winery recently opened its doors. Thus began the story of Sophia and Ben’s Amaterra Winery Wedding.
Together, with their planner Lauren from Your Perfect Bridesmaid, the couple meticulously planned their intimate black-and-white wedding.

Amaterra’s terrace lawn hosted Sophia and Ben’s sun-kissed ceremony. A tasteful arrangement of white and green florals complemented this stunning backdrop, creating an atmosphere of timeless beauty and sophistication. The couple, surrounded by their closest friends and family, shared heartfelt vows that resonated with love and authenticity, making the ceremony a truly unforgettable experience for all present.
A Night To Remember in Amaterra’s Skyline Ballroom
As the day transitioned into evening, the festivities continued in the grandeur of Amaterra’s Skyline Ballroom. Upon entry, attendees were treated to a culinary masterpiece crafted by the skilled hands of executive chef Jami Flatt. The menu, a collaborative effort between the couple and Chef Flatt, showcased an exquisite array of flavors. Not only did this delight the senses, but left everyone in attendance craving for more.
One of the standout moments of the evening was the emotional and humorous speech delivered by Sophia’s brother, Luke. Filled with heartfelt sentiments and humorous anecdotes, Luke’s speech moved everyone present while simultaneously making them laugh hysterically.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the festivities took a lively turn. DJ Mighty Moves set the stage for an epic dance party. The pulsating beats and infectious energy left guests dancing while creating cherished memories that would last forever.
A Sparkling Ending to a Wonderful Celebration
To cap off this extraordinary day, Sophia’s parents had a delightful surprise in store. Cold sparklers lit up the night sky, showering them both with a magical display of sparks.
