Established in the early months of 2023, The Styled Wedding Series is dedicated to providing highly styled editorials for photographers and filmmakers looking to elevate their portfolios and attract their dream clientele. Collaboratively led by Alex Lasota of Alex Lasota Photography and Edna of Events By Edz, the series orchestrates meticulously curated shoots at prestigious wedding venues across the West Coast.
To elevate the overall experience for their participants, both Edna and Alex intentionally cultivate an intimate environment for their attendees so they can focus on creating freely in a relaxed atmosphere. Together, they are selective in highlighting the best regional and national talent, so participants can build connections with vendors they might not have otherwise partnered with, fostering valuable relationships in the process.
We work with a curated list of vendors to provide you with elevated wedding content to enhance your portfolio. In order to maintain an intimate and intentional experience, we separate you into small groups, where you will rotate through our highly stylized stations.

This editorial isn't just for wedding photographers. It's designed to be a valuable resource for a broad range of professionals, including photographers, filmmakers, content creators, and anyone interested in visual storytelling. Whether you specialize in capturing romantic moments, creating compelling video narratives, or producing engaging content for various platforms, you'll find insights and inspiration here. This gathering offers a unique opportunity to network, share ideas, and learn from experts across different fields in the creative industry. So, if you work with visuals in any capacity, this event is for you.
We aim to keep our editorial sessions intimate to ensure that every attendee has ample time and space to capture not just stunning content but also create intentional art. We organize attendees into small groups of three to four, allowing for a more focused and collaborative environment. These groups rotate through different stations every thirty minutes, providing a variety of settings and opportunities to explore creativity. By maintaining a smaller group size, we create an atmosphere where participants can interact more closely, share ideas, and make the most of their time at the event.
The editorial is scheduled to last for four hours, giving you plenty of time to immerse yourself in the experience. While we won't be providing a meal, you can expect a selection of light snacks and drinks available throughout the event. This setup allows you to stay energized and focused without the need for a formal dining break, ensuring that you get the most out of your time with us. So, come prepared to engage, create, and enjoy the editorial with some light refreshments on hand.
Absolutely, you can shoot film at our editorial. We welcome both film and digital photographers, and we've designed the schedule to give everyone ample time at each station. This allows you to carefully set up your shots, whether you're capturing moments on film or digitally. Our goal is to create a flexible and inclusive environment where every photographer can work with their preferred medium. So bring your film cameras and take all the time you need to create the perfect shot.
