Information & Inspiration

Abeja Winery Wedding

Absolutely. Abeja offers a variety of luxurious accommodations for you to get ready. From the Farmhouse (our personal favorite) to the Hayloft, Locust suite, and more..there are a lot of on-site options for you to select from.

We’ve found that ceremony times typically vary from season to season, but usually fall within the 3pm-6pm timeframe. If you’re considering Abeja, we’d be more than happy to provide our insights on the ideal ceremony start time for your date and unique celebration needs.

The wonderful staff at Abeja Winery can accommodate your celebration at any time throughout the year. That being said, we’re particularly fond of the Spring and Fall months as the weather is usually the most ideal and the foliage on the property makes for some unique photo opportunities.

On average we typically dedicate about two hours for all formal photographs. That being said, the amount of time depends on a multitude of factors and your personal requests. We work with each of our clients and their planners months prior to their wedding to allow for the right amount of time for their specific needs.

Absolutely! We’ve worked with an array of talented planners, florists, cake artists, DJs, bands, videographers, and more in the Walla Walla region. We provide all our signed clients with a curated list of the best talent in the Walla Walla region and beyond.

Abeja Winery delights visitors with an array of tasting experiences year-round, tailored to showcase their exquisite wines in a variety of settings. Guests can partake in the Traditional Tasting held in the quaint Small Barn, where Abeja’s current-release wines from both the Beekeeper and Columbia Valley collections are presented. This experience often extends outdoors onto a scenic patio that overlooks the Blue Mountains when the weather is favorable.

For those looking for a more immersive experience, the winery offers the Estate Experience during the spring, summer, and fall months. This includes a guided walking tour across the winery’s expansive estate, coupled with a seated tasting session. Here, guests can savor a handpicked selection of Abeja’s limited-production wines from their estate vineyards and special library collection. To enhance the tasting, small delectable bites crafted by Executive Chef Jake Crenshaw from The Kitchen at Abeja are served, adding a culinary delight to the wine exploration.

If you're looking to walk the grounds to get a feel for the property, Abeja welcomes visitors seven days a week. The tasting room operates from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. Whether you plan to visit on a relaxed Sunday or a bustling Friday, the doors will be open during these hours for you to explore their exquisite wine selections.

If you know you'd like to host your wedding at Abeja, we recommend setting up an appointment with their event coordinator.
