The Inn at Abeja, nestled in the picturesque wine country of Walla Walla, Washington, is a place of beauty and tranquility. For Katy and Nick, they knew it was the perfect setting for their wedding. Little did they know that their journey to saying “I do” would involve adapting to the challenges posed by the pandemic.
Overcoming Challenges: Covid-19
Katy and Nick’s original plan was to exchange vows in late May. They planned to exchange their vows in Spring, surrounded by 200 of their closest family and friends. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic gripped the world, they had to reimagine their vision. Amidst the uncertainty and ever-changing guidelines, the couple decided to postpone their wedding to the fall. Once brimming with 200 names, the guest list had to be scaled down to their 35 closest family and friends.
Setting The Stage: An Intimate Affair at The Inn at Abeja
To bring their intimate fall wedding vision to life, Katy and Nick wisely sought the expertise of Kasey from Kasey D Weddings. Kasey was the guiding hand they needed to navigate the complexities of reimagining their special day. The scene was set for an unforgettable evening at the Inn at Abeja. The couple and their guests dined amongst the vines, beneath a custom-built table adorned with twinkling lights, lush greenery, and tables filled with enchanting florals. It was a tableau of natural elegance, where every detail was carefully curated to create an intimate and romantic atmosphere.

The color palette chosen by Katy and Nick was a symphony of various shades of ivory and pink. These soft and delicate hues exuded romance and perfectly complemented the vineyard surroundings’ natural beauty. Katy herself was a vision of timeless beauty in her custom Hayley Paige gown.
